United Way of Delaware County and donor support make it possible for United Day Care Center to receive an Early Education Matching Grant from the State of Indiana.

United Way funds provide the 50% match required for five at-risk children to attend a quality early childhood education program in the year prior to entering kindergarten. These five children come from families whose incomes fall below the poverty line, and would not normally have the funds to send their children to a quality educational program prior to kindergarten.

The most stable part of these children’s lives is the daily routine of coming to “school” with people who care for them and help them develop to their full potential. This preparation is to ensure the children will enter kindergarten ready to succeed in school and life.

Thank you for giving these children the opportunities they deserve! More families you’re your support in sending their children to high-quality educational programs. Will you make an impact today?
