Medical Care for the Uninsured
Through either Gateway Health Clinic or Open Door BMH, persons with low incomes who are uninsured are able to access sliding fee or free health services, including preventative health care.
Dental Care for the Uninsured
Open Door BMH operates a dental clinic on a sliding fee scale for persons who do not have insurance and cannot afford dental care.
Client Services
Cancer Services of East Central Indiana--Little Red Door provides equipment, food and services in order to reduce the physical and financial burdens of a cancer diagnosis. Some of the benefits provided include: wigs and turbans to enhance the self image of women undergoing treatment, prosthesis and bra for women who have undergone a mastectomy and do not have the resources to pay for this, equipment loan and comfort items such as linens and disposable supplies for in-home care, and nutrition drinks to help patients retain weight during treatment (and for clients who are unable to eat solid food at the end of life).

Cancer Services of East Central Indiana--Little Red Door provides comprehensive cancer information focusing on prevention, early detection and treatment to the public.
Health and Safety Services
The Hoosier Heartland Chapter of the American Red Cross provides education opportunities to the community on how to prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies, as well as teaches ways to live healthier lives and keep families safer. They teach time honored lifesaving skills while remaining on the cutting edge of the most recent emergency cardio care guidelines, use of AEDs (Automated External Difibrillators), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, Preventing Disease Transmission and aquatic programs.
Community Education
American Red Cross provides education to community members on disaster preparedness and life saving skills.
First Aid Coverage
American Red Cross provides first aid coverages at many public events to make sure that persons in need of first aid receive assistance.
Crisis Line
A Better Way provides a crisis line for persons who call who are in need of emergency assistance.
Adult Day Services
Alpha Center provides adult day service for persons 60 and older who may be physically and cognitively impaired and those who are socially isolated. The client is served with a program which gently strengthens them physically and emotionally and serves the caregiver by providing respite through a safe, secure and caring environment.
Day Camp and Summer Resident Camp
Hillcroft Services provides a camping experience to youth and adults with disabilities at Isanogel Center.
Teen and Adult Programming
Hillcroft Services provides recreational and social programming for teens and adults with disabilities at Isanogel Center throughout the year.
Meals on Wheels
This program is designed to deliver meals every Monday through Friday to homebound persons living within the Muncie city limits who are unable to manage their own meal preparation. This service allows elderly and disabled people to live independently in their own home.
Senior Wellness
Provided by the Muncie and Delaware County Senior Citizen's Center, this program provides senior citizens of Delaware County activities and services geared toward promoting wellness. Some activities include exercise and yoga classes, blood screenings and blood pressure checks, and educational programs on topics such as nutrition and safety.
Senior Education
Muncie and Delaware County Senior Citizen's Center provides educational programming on a wide variety of topics of interest to senior citizens in the community.
Senior Recreation
Muncie and Delaware County Senior Citizen's Center provides recreational opportunities for senior citizens, including volunteer opportunities, card clubs, and line dancing.
Mental Health Advocacy
Mental Health America (formerly Mental Health Association) works with persons who are living with chronic mental illnesses and/or their family members to ensure that they have access to appropriate services to help them live productive lives in the community. Some of these services include not only psychiatric services, but also assistance with employment, housing, and medical issues that they may encounter.
Depression Screening/Health Fairs
Mental Health America (formerly Mental Health Association) conducts depression screenings for anyone interested at no cost. Should a person be found to have a likelihood for having the illness appropriate referrals will be made for follow up testing.
Fitness and Recreation
YWCA provides fitness and recreational opportunities for senior citizens, including water aerobics classes several times per week.
RSVP
The Retired Senior Volunteer Program hosted by the YWCA finds opportunities for senior citizens to help a wide variety of organizations by volunteering in many capacities throughout the community.
