United Way of Delaware County works to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.

It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future, and that's why we bring together people from all across the Muncie and Delaware County community–government, business, faith groups, nonprofits, the labor movement, ordinary citizens–to tackle the issues. Because we all win when a child succeeds in school, when a family becomes financially stable, and when people stay in good health.

We work to build a strong, healthy community by strategically investing in quality programs, building partnerships, advocating for better policies, and engaging people in our community. To accomplish our goals, we mobilize a broad range of resources – from expertise to in-kind services to money – and strategically invest those resources in local solutions.
